Parents can choose to acknowledge: grandparents, siblings, God-parents (or guide parents), passed loved ones, the baby’s namesake, and/or family traditions. They can also include poems, song lyrics, readings, or prayer. Additional blessings, such as: a rose blessing, water blessing, tree planting ceremony, sage blessing, or a candle ceremony can also be included.
